The Springfield 183 (45mm)

This watch is big and bold and catches everyone's eye. The crown is the most satisfying wind up ever. And the history of the pocket watch that went into it is an endlessly satisfying conversation topic. I have a general rule against buying more than one watch from any one company, but Vortic will probably be the exception to that rule!

I've been a Vortic Watches fan since the start and with each new release I become more invested in the company's future. The latest one? The Journeyman. Looks amazing on the wrist, gets compliments from everyone who notices it and the build quality is exceptional! I've been interested in this watch since it was previewed back in 2017 and the finished product is even better than I hoped it would be. The dial harkens back to yesteryear, the Côtes de Genève on the movement is beautiful and the rest of the finishing touches on the movement are simply world-class. The team at Vortic has outdone itself by blending old style with new tech. I can't wait to see what the second edition does to up the game!

I absolutely love the watch! Very comfortable and easy to read.

Five Stars given because the end result is absolutely amazing and well worth the wait (about 13 months). That said, the communication could be better - maybe a quarterly update explaining where I was in the process. But consider this a critical suggestion and not a criticism per se. I would recommend Vortic to anyone.

I really like the Vortic conversion program. I have had 4 watches converted so far, they are all different designs, and they all came out really well. Being able to create your own look and feel is awesome. Nothing like being able to wear a piece of history on your arm that is so unique.

I’ve been stalking the military edition since they first came out … and finally set the alarm clock to be online at time of release to snag one … lucky number 7 it was - and vortic went even further and meticulously added lum to the numbers and hands per my secondary custom request. Once in hand - or “on wrist” - let’s just say WOW … very impressed and am extremely happy. This will be a legacy piece that puts those mass produced luxury brands to shame when I pass it on to future generations in my family.

I bought my Hamilton watch during the pandemic at a Chicago event. Theyade The most Amazing people. My strap broke and guided me to a new one that would match with my watch. Had it shipped right away and don’t mis a beat wearing it.

I've been following Vortic for several years and recently purchased The Springfield 164. It is a fabulous time piece - beautiful workmanship highlighting the patina and original craftsmanship of the movement.

I purchased the Lancaster 123 from RT himself at the Intersection Watch show in NYC. It’s immediately become one of my favorite watches. It’s completely unique and oozes history and master craftsmanship. The most pleasant surprise is that, despite the size of the case it is remarkably wearable. While I sometimes have trouble working with my watch on my wrist I had no problem keeping this piece on the entire workday, during which I spend much of the day typing. It’s also a fantastic conversation piece. I’m very proud to add it to my collection and promote it.

I got this timepiece as Birthday gift and I gotta say Vortic Watch Company is like no other, I call it a work of Art, vintage Americana history. Wow!! I would take it over a Rolex any day. A very rare watch that will continue to stay in our generations just like it has for over a 100 years!
