Company Overview:

Vortic Watch Company is looking for a highly organized and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Logistics Assistant. We are a small but rapidly growing company located in Fort Collins, CO, dedicated to providing high-quality products and top-notch customer experiences. We are a manufacturing company focused on luxury wristwatches, and many of the watches are custom built using antique American pocket watches. We're also introducing a new brand and product line called Colorado Watch Company and making some of the only truly American-made wristwatches right here in Colorado.

Role Overview:

As a Logistics Assistant, you will play a crucial role in keeping our team and company organized so we can provide the highest quality products and services to our customers.

Your primary role will be assisting our Customer Service team by handling all inbound and outbound shipments. That includes physically opening boxes and packaging and shipping orders, but also taking inventory of what we're bringing in and sending out.

You will also assist the Watchmakers and Machinists by keeping our inventory of parts organized and making sure we never run out of components or any supplies needed while building and shipping watches.

Your responsibilities will also extend to maintaining the organization of our facility, managing inventory, and handling supply orders. You will be a key support resource for our team and contribute to various projects as needed.

Qualities of the Ideal Candidate:

Contagious Positive Attitude: Your positivity shines through, leaving a lasting impression on customers and colleagues alike.

Organizational Guru: You excel at maintaining order and efficiency in both customer interactions and internal processes.

People Person: You possess excellent interpersonal skills, enjoy helping and supporting others, and can interact effectively with a diverse range of people.

Tech-Savvy: You are passionate about staying up-to-date on the latest software and technologies, and you are not afraid to tackle challenges hands-on.

Resourceful Problem Solver: You seek simple, essentialist solutions while maintaining a high level of quality and customer service.

Strategic Executor: You systematically strategize, create plans, and execute tasks with precision.

- Accurate Data Entry: You are a skilled typer who pays meticulous attention to grammar, spelling, etc. You triple check your work before hitting send or moving on to the next line in the spreadsheet. You know the difference between being accurate and precise, and will mention that in your interview.

Attention to Detail: Your attention to detail is impeccable, and you take pride in your work. You can show us your attention to detail by mentioning this bullet point in your application.

Issue Resolution: You proactively identify and resolve issues, utilizing available resources, including team members.

- No task is too small or too big if it aligns with the brand's mission. For instance, you are just as happy unloading the dishwasher in our kitchen as you are helping our team as they build watches.

- Excellent references that can be called or texted by our CEO.

- Must be based in Northern Colorado (full-time, in-person role).

- You are an “Apple person”, not a “Microsoft person” (this is not actually a non-negotiable, but we use Apple devices company-wide).

Additional Details:

- You will report to, and work closely with, our Head of Customer Service.

- This is a full-time, hourly role with the possibility advancement after 12 months of excellent, reliable work.

- A non-disclosure agreement will be required.

- A criminal background check will be performed before an offer is made to the final candidate.

- We are committed to finding the ideal candidate, and interviews will follow an initial reach-out.
