Vortic Careers: Videographer & Content Creator
We are hiring a full-time, in-person Videographer & Content Creator to support the growth of our Marketing Team. We're looking for a passionate storyteller to document the artistry, craftsmanship, and historical significance behind the watches we make and showcase our journey of preserving and expanding American innovation and manufacturing.
The Videographer & Content Creator is responsible for producing, editing, and delivering high-quality video content that captures quality craftsmanship, American manufacturing processes, and brand storytelling behind Vortic Watch Company and Colorado Watch Company. This role plays a key part in marketing campaigns, social media engagement, podcast production, product launches, and website visuals, ensuring all content is compelling, brand-aligned, and platform-optimized.
While the primary focus of this role (approximately 2/3 of the time) is video production, the remaining 1/3 will involve product photography, particularly for Vortic Watch Company’s “Watch of the Day” listings and other key visual assets.
The ideal candidate is a highly skilled videographer and editor with a strong eye for cinematic storytelling, composition, and lighting, as well as product photography expertise. They should be able to execute projects efficiently in a fast-paced environment, balancing creative vision with quick turnaround times and shifting priorities.
This role works closely with the Marketing Team, including the Photographer/Team Lead and the Marketing Coordinator, to ensure a cohesive and engaging content strategy.

Professional Videography Experience – Proven experience in filming, editing, and producing high-quality video content that aligns with brand storytelling and marketing objectives, including multi-camera and audio recording setups.

Proficiency in Editing Software – Skilled in editing software for professional-level video editing and post-production.

Advanced Camera & Audio Knowledge – Proficient in DSLR, mirrorless, and/or cinema cameras, with expertise in setting up professional lighting and high-quality audio recording for both video production and podcasts.

Social Media Video Proficiency – Strong understanding of platform-specific video formatting, engagement strategies, and best practices for YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, and Pinterest.

Fast-Paced Execution & Adaptability – Capable of turning around video/photo projects quickly in response to shifting priorities, last-minute marketing needs, or time-sensitive product launches.

Content Organization & File Management – Must be able to maintain a structured digital library of video and photo assets for seamless team access and efficient content repurposing.

Relocation Requirement – Must be based in or willing to relocate to Northern Colorado (full-time, in-person role). Requests for relocation assistance will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
