Our co-founders, Tyler and R.T. are spending this week planning the future of Vortic! We're refining our business plan so we can obtain the necessary financing for our new building and the massive growth we're about to experience. We have a lot of big conversations to have and we would be doing a disservice if we didn't ask you - what do you want to see from us?

Today, we are excited to introduce this stunning piece from the Illinois Watch Company — the Springfield 464. Originally manufactured in 1926 by the Illinois Watch Company, the Springfield 464 features a spectacular dial design, bold type numbers, and a clear display case that reveals the intricate nickel gears with bronze details. The dark and light gold striations on the dial contrast with the deep blue hands magnificently. Our Machined Titanium case accentuates the luminous gold patterns of the dial wonderfully.

This 274-grade timepiece, powered by 21 jewels, has an incredibly durable and scratch-resistant coating that’s sure to keep the watch intact and functional for years to come. Lastly, our Cordovan Black leather strap brings this exceptional timepiece together. This watch was originally produced in Springfield, Illinois, in 1926 — the same year that the Disney Brothers Cartoon Studio became Walt Disney Studios to reflect the younger brother’s creative contributions to the company.

 

We are proud to present this incredible piece from the Hamilton Watch Company — the Lancaster 119. Originally manufactured in 1929 by the Hamilton Watch Company, the Lancaster 119 features a classic dial design, sleek type numbers, a beautiful golden sub-dial, and a clear display case that reveals the intricate nickel gears with gold details. Our Diamond-Like Coating (DLC) case brings out the gold color of the sub-dial beautifully, and our incredibly durable and scratch-resistant coating preserves the history of this timepiece.

Powered by 19 ruby and sapphire jewels in gold settings, this 918-grade timepiece is remarkably exquisite. Lastly, our Cordovan Black leather strap complements the dial of this timepiece perfectly. This watch was originally produced in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, in 1929 — the same year that U.S. President Herbert Hoover authorized the building of the Hoover Dam, which created America's largest water reservoir, Lake Mead. 

 

Here we present this incredible piece from the Illinois Watch Company — the Springfield 463. Originally manufactured in 1921 by the Illinois Watch Company, the Springfield 463 features a rustic watch face design, bold type numbers, and a clear display case that reveals the intricate nickel gears with gold details. Our Machined Bronze case complements the color and patterns of the dial and sub-dial wonderfully.

This high-quality A. Lincoln grade timepiece is powered by 21 jewels and has an incredibly durable and scratch-resistant coating to preserve the history of this incredible piece. Lastly, our Tobacco leather strap brings unity to this timepiece, matching our Machined Bronze case and the bronze detailing on the dial. This watch was originally produced in Springfield, Illinois, in 1921 — the same year that Congresswoman Alice Mary Robertson became the first woman to preside over the floor of the U.S. House of Representatives.

 
 

We are thrilled to introduce this remarkable piece from the American Waltham Watch Company — the Boston 419. Originally manufactured in 1925 by Waltham, the Boston 419 features a stunning watch dial, sleek type numbers, and an open-face back, revealing the intricate nickel gears with gold details. Some subtle aging on the dial reminds us of the history this watch has already experienced first-hand. To keep this watch preserved, our Machined Titanium case accentuates the artistry of the dial and has an incredibly durable and scratch-resistant coating.

Powered by 17 jewels in screw settings, this 225-grade timepiece is exquisite. Lastly, our Natural leather strap brings the whole design together, matching the color of the dial design perfectly. . This watch was originally produced in Waltham, Massachusetts, in 1925 — the same year that U.S. President Calvin Coolidge's inauguration was broadcast live on 21 radio stations.

 

We are proud to present this incredible piece from the Illinois Watch Company — the Springfield 460. Originally manufactured in 1927 by the Illinois Watch Company, the Springfield 460 features a modern dial design, bold type numbers, and an open back that reveals the intricate nickel gears with bronze details. The subtle aging on the dial adds character and reminds the owner that they are wearing a piece of history.  

Our Machined Titanium case complements the dial and subdial beautifully, further bringing out the boldness of the watch. This 127-grade timepiece, powered by 17 jewels, has an incredibly durable and scratch-resistant coating. Lastly, our Natural leather strap brings this extraordinary timepiece together by matching the aged color on the dial. This watch was originally produced in Springfield, Illinois in 1927 — the same year that the 1st Model A Ford was sold.
