The Military Edition Launches In 7 Days!
Hey everyone! R.T. Custer here from Vortic Watch Company.You’re receiving this email because at some point you signed up for our Military Edition Waiting List to learn more about this special set of watches we release each Veterans Day (November 11th).
We are one week away from launch, and in the next few emails, I’ll do my best to answer all of your questions so you can decide if you would like to purchase one of the 50 watches available this year in the 3rd Edition.
I need EVERYONE to reply to this email for one of two reasons:
ONE: You are very interested in purchasing this watch either this year or in future years (replying will white-list our domain for your email address and the big shots at the tech companies will let you receive our content in a timely matter). If you’re here for this reason, please reply and ask me any questions you have. I’ll answer them in the next few emails for everyone. If you have no questions, just say “I’m here to buy!” or something along those lines.
TWO: You are here mistakenly and do not want to learn more about or purchase a Vortic Military Edition. If this is you, please reply “unsubscribe” or with “This isn’t where I parked my car.”
Now, down to business. Here are our three most frequently asked questions with answers and more pictures!1. When and how can I buy the Military Edition?
Thursday, November 11th at 12 pm Mountain Time (Denver, Colorado, USA timezone, 2 pm Eastern, 11 am Pacific)
At or after that time you can visit www.vorticwatches.com/military or you can check your email here. I’ll send an email at 12:01 pm MST with a direct link to purchase.
I personally update our website for launch (the rest of the team is off for the holiday), and this is the 3rd year I’ve done this, so please give me a few minutes of buffer before you get worried.
You can only purchase online from our website. We always have people ask to call and purchase via phone but we only have one phone line so, at this time, we cannot accommodate that.There are absolutely zero exceptions to the above. I’ve already received requests of every form, and I’m terribly sorry if that day or time doesn’t work well for you, but we’re doing everything we can to make this fair.
For some perspective, last year we sold out of our 15 Special Editions in 6 minutes, and the other 50 2nd Editions in a few hours. This year we only have 50 total (all 3rd Editions, and all the same), but we never know how fast they will go. It could be minutes, hours, or days.
2021 has been one of the best years in the watch industry (Rolex is totally sold out, our friends have launched limited editions for much higher prices and sold out in seconds) so we have no idea what to expect. What I can tell you is that there are over 3,000 of you on this list and only 50 watches available!
2. How much is the Military Edition?
The 3rd release of the Military Edition on November 11th, 2021 will be $6,995.We offer financing through Affirm (you’ll see that at check out), and I’m working on negotiating up to 12 months of 0% APR for you all.
We have only one discount available and it is for current and past members of the military. If you’ve served our country or are currently serving, first of all, THANK YOU, and second, please use code MILITARY at check out for 10% off this and all Vortic products anytime.
3. When will I receive the watch if I purchase it on the 11th at 12 pm MST?
The first 10 watches will likely ship by Tuesday the 16th, and the following 40 watches will be shipped approximately 10 per week for the next 4 weeks.We’re hoping a worst-case scenario is that all 50 watches will ship by the end of 2021.
